1. Vanwin Counting Bus People Counter with binocular lens is developed based on advanced Video Counting&image analysis technology. It judges passenger’s number by capturing human characteristics such as head, shoulders, body and body’s get-on& get-off Movement characteristics and obtains accurate counting results by high-speed DSP intelligent algorithm. After many years’ improvement and development, the core calculation has been successfully used in different application scenarios and vehicles. Normally the accuracy of statistics is over 98% and with crowded circumstances, the accuracy is over 98%. It can automatically filter backpack, luggage etc.

2. For every cycle time from door-open to door-close, the passenger number of get-on or get-off with time&date and gps positioning information will be stored into SD card or harddisk. At the same time these data could be sent to 3rd-party application equipment (need customization) through the serial port RS232 level.

3. For 3G / 4G / WiFi counter, all the counting data(including passenger nubmer, time, date, gps positioing infomation) will be sent to the server or 3rd-party application server (need customization) through the 3G / 4G / WiFi wireless network

4. The People Countng System is designed with GPS Positioning to link passenger data to vehicle location. This provides a wealth of data for agencies to analyze about the utilization of the system based on location, direction of travel, and time.

5. Alternatively, Vehicle CCTV cameras can be used together with people counters to record the video of people getting on and off at each stop or station, so operators can verify that the system is counting properly simply by watching the video back - this shows people getting on and off the vehicle together with the increasing counts.
